Window & Door Replacement in Smithfield, RI

The windows are AWESOME. They really do keep out more noise than my previous windows. They're pretty, smooth, lock very easily, but I don't like that I'm trapped behind a full-window screen. They're difficult to remove and I end up dropping them outside all of the time. I miss my sliding screens. The doors, on the other hand, have completely marred the entire experience. I would sincerely say to you that you SHOULD NOT get doors from RbA. Just don't. The pet door was warped within weeks, the handles were popping off within weeks. In fact, they had to come back and completely reinstall both doors because they weren't done correctly the first time. So, here I am a year later with this $30K debt sucking the life out of me, and every time I go outside and have to pop the handle of my screen door back in, or stoop to look out of the 4ft high peephole (exaggeration), or turn around to lock my door because for some reason they don't have self-closing locks ... I hate it. I wish I never did it! Windows are awesome, though. Get the windows. Just know that you'll have to say goodbye to your retirement money. 8/26 Update: The review was responded to, a door was replaced. Believing that would satisfy, they neglected the front storm door (which they acknowledged needed a new handle) which now doesn't lock. I think I also made the $h!t list because my last calls were not returned. So, I repeat ... get their windows. Awesome windows! The doors? Not so much.

This will be my 2nd time dealing with Ron Menard, we are having the remaining windows and an entry door replaced. Ron was nice enough to call and provide his arrival time to measure the windows and door. Ron soon discovered that the door replacement size would be changed due to when the home was orininally built, a filler plate was installed, due to the original door being smaller in height, than what the standard size should be. Based on that discovery, a quick change to the overall height of the door has now been entered into the order form. Ron is very professional and friendly, knows his business and asks many questions to ensure we are happy with what we expect to have from the final install. Ron let us know that he would be entering the order details today and we would get an e-mail in the next 2 weeks that would provide dates to choose from that fit our schedule for the install. Great working with Ron again!

Both installers were pleasant and did a great job, worked efficiently, and answered all our questions. The doors and windows look great. Vitaly, I may have spelled his name incorrectly, wanted the job done well! He noticed one of the slider doors did not have the lock area drilled out--mamufacturing error, so he pointed it out to us, and he had a new panel of the door ordered to have reinstalled in about 2 weeks. It is great to have new windows and doors. We will have 2 more rooms done next spring. A Farnsworth and C Farnsworth

Ron and Dan showed up early, confirmed my order, and took accurate measurements. Once measurements were complete, they walked me through the order and notification process and what to expect during the install. Ron and Dan were great.

Ron and Dan came today to go over the window installation options previously discussed with Cory, and to take final measurements. They were very thorough, detailed and personable, answering any questions we had. It was a very pleasant experience.

The installation team was fantastic. They were on time and worked so quickly. I had over 24 feet of windows replaced. They arrived at 8am and were completely finshed before 2pm. They took care to protect my floors and furniture and left the windows in pristine condition. I didn't have to clean the windows at all. The windows are high quality and beautiful.

Serge was alone to install both ordered doors. His work was excellent! He took great care with installation and cleanliness down to the smallest detail. I couldn’t be more pleased.
