The employee visited us following our request. He demonstrated excellent character, extensive industry knowledge, and strong confidence in his work. The installation was completed on the scheduled date as promised. Everything proceeded smoothly from start to finish. There were no mistakes, no errors, and no issues throughout the entire process. The office team maintained excellent communication, calling and coordinating with us before, during, and after the installation. This level of follow-up reflects an ideal customer service approach. The only downside — and the reason we would deduct four points out of the ten — is that these very expensive windows do not include a proper handle to move the window panes. The frame is so small that I have to place my fingers on the edge of the frame to slide it from one side to the other. This is both frustrating and impractical for daily use. It feels surprising that such a premium product lacks a basic practical feature. It becomes difficult to confidently recommend the same window to others when such an important usability detail is missing.

We recently had Andersen of BC come and give us an estimate to replace a number of our windows. We decided to go with a sliding door in our dining room and window in our kitchen to start with. The sales presentation was well done. Our sales rep Rick was helpful and provided us with a lot of information and multiple scenarios. Be prepared for about 2 hours or so if you are looking at any more than 1 or 2 replacements. Many people likely would find the sales approach to be high pressure. But that was what I expected and so I had no issues with their approach. The other concern I've seen online is the cost. Andersen definitely is not a cheap option. However, after seeing the results of our installation, I am more than happy with the value we have received. Everyone involved in the process has been easy to deal with and provided excellent customer service and replied quickly to any questions. One recommendation I would give is to make sure you have thought over exactly what options you want before starting the process. We followed up about the possibility of adding the removable grille option for our kitchen window a couple days after the order had been sent in. Unfortunately, even though this is a clip in grille, because the order had been sent to their fabrication team already, the only way to add it would be to cancel the order and re-start which included about a $250 USD fee in addition to the cost of the grille. So, in the end we opted not to do that. While it was a bit disappointing, it wasn't a major issue for us. Just something to consider before you finalize any orders. The installation team was amazing. They arrived on time, were super professional and the quality of the install was fantastic! Our furniture and counters in the areas of the install were covered and protected and when they were finished everything was cleaned 100%. The finishing work on the trim is excellent, both inside and out. The old kitchen window that was replaced had trim that was flush with the tile around it. I was a bit concerned that there could be damage from removing it during the process, but they did a great job and removed it without any issues. I can't speak for all Renewal by Andersen outfits, but I can definitely recommend the BC group based in the Okanagan. Rick, Mike, Ken and our installer Roman were professional and easy to work with. If you are looking for a premium window or door replacement and impeccable installation, then give them a call.
