Our initial experience with Renewal by Anderson was excellent. Your salesman does a great job selling excellence but after we were committed to our window and door replacement project we experienced a very different situation. We initially spoke with a salesman on May 15, 2025. We were wowed by the company and decided to jump in with both feet and began a $23,000.00 project to replace three windows and our front door. We decided on color and style and were told that we had until the final measurements were taken to change anything. We did change the color of the front door trim within a couple days and emailed the company. We were told to be sure that change was on the paperwork when the measurements were taken. The Measure Tech came on July 28, 2025 to do final measurements.We have a contract addendum dated July 28, 2025 stating the correct color door and trim. We were told it would probably be November before the job could be done. We questioned the weather at this time of year as we live in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern NY and late fall can produce very cold temps and snow. They assured us it would not be a problem. We were later notified that the project was pushed back into December, actually December 27&28 (Christmas week) very inconvenient but we didn't want to be delayed further so we agreed. We moved all our decorations, outdoor lighting, Christmas tree etc. We also removed our front door storm door. We again questioned the weather at this time of year. The day the crew arrived was very cold - 20's. The windows were removed leaving gaping holes for several minutes. Our house temperature got down to 40 degrees. The weather was so cold that the caulking did not dry properly and ran down the siding. When the crew opened the package for our front door, the trim color was wrong so they said they would reorder the door with the correct trim. We were notified that they would come this time to install the door on April 7, 2026. We once again removed items from the front porch, front door, inside hallway etc. On the morning of April 7 we received a call from the crew stating that the door still had the wrong color trim. They said they would reorder and put a rush on it. We have been notified that the door has come in with correct trim color and they will come to install on May 12. Just short of one year since we agreed to purchase. We will again have to move furniture, outside decor etc. Understand that we do not feel that the installation crew is at fault for any of our complaints. They were very pleasant and hard working. For a project that was promised to be seamless and stated that we would "not even know they had been here", we feel that we have been more than a little inconvenienced and wonder if some kind of compensation wouldn't be appropriate! At this time, we will never recommend Renewal by Anderson to anyone.

Working with Renewal by Anderson was a great experience. They replaced our old leaky living room windows with state of the art glass windows and screens. The windows open easily for amazing ventilation and the screens are so fine, you would hardly know that they are there. I can take a photo through the screen! From the person (Zack) who came to discuss options and prices, to the installer who took such care with the installation and finish carpentry (Steve), it was a 100% stress-free experience. The day after the installation in our living room, we called them back to work on our kitchen. I highly recommend Renewal by Anderson.

This our second encounter. We had 22 windows installed in November 2025. Breanne was the representative. She knew so much and even suggested a picture window. Hunter and his helper installed all 22 in 4 days rather than the original 8 days. Today, we met with Howard to order 2 windows. Knows his stuff and made suggestions we didn't think of doing. Excellent representative. Super personality. Will highly recommend.

We are extremely happy with our new windows and the warmth they have provided this cold winter. It’s so nice to have windows that function with ease and look great. From sales with Howard, who was detail-oriented thankfully, to service provided by Troy and his crew, we couldn’t be happier. I signed my first contract with Renewal by Andersen of Vermont in March with Steven, and the windows and doors were installed in December. The quality is excellent and worth the wait, and the installation went smoothly.
