We purchased a home 8 months ago and decided to replace the 26 year old windows and entry door. We contacted Renewal by Andersen to schedule a consultation. Mason Cloud was the representative who arrived and helped us choose the windows and doors. He was absolutely a pleasure to work with and made the process enjoyable and informative. Mason was personable and knowledgeable; we did not feel rushed or pressured in any way. We knew Andersen had the best products, but they clearly hire the best people as well. We are looking forward to getting our windows and entry door installed, and I am sure we will continue to get stellar service from the team at Andersen.

The initial installation was totally botched. The installers did not want to cut the ceramic floor tile so everything was wrong from the base up. After that, I could not get anyone to understand the problems or come look at it. Twelve contacts and two months later, I finally got two guys who had to completely remove the sliding door and reinstall it. One piece was obviously too short in the original installation. I sent pictures. They didn't bring the replacement and it was another month before it was finally finished. Fourteen months start to finish. Hardly the 10 out of 10 experience they promised.

The customer service, specifically the scheduling department has been horrible. We hardly received any calls back, or communication. They also didn't listen to basic instructions, such as: if they needed to contact us, they should call me because of my wife's work schedule. Or, they would call my wife asking for me. We ordered our door in July of 2025, and it wasn't installed until December because their crews rescheduled our installation several times. When we finally had our door installed, we then had to have ANOTHER one made because that door was scratched and damaged. The casing they installed around the door on the exterior was also damaged/bent. We then went through another round of no calls, reschedules etc... and ANOTHER bad door. We are now waiting for our FOURTH DOOR to be made. Every single door has arrived scratched, discolored, or not molded correctly. We were told that the door would be quality checked before it left the facility, only to then receive a voicemail stating that they did their best to check the door before it was sent to be installed. Due to them “not having proper lighting, and not opening the box all the way to protect it during transportation” they completely missed the fact that one side of the door looked like it had been drug across some sort of surface. There were scratches and nicks all over one side of the third door we had been waiting on. These doors are NOT worth $10,000+, that is a ridiculous amount of money for the quality of customer service, installation, and manufacturing. The only thing that we enjoyed was being able to fully customize the door, and even then I don't think it outweighs the negatives. My wife and I were excited to add something to our home that would increase the property value, improve the energy efficiency of our home, protect us, and be able to tailor it to our tastes as well. Instead I feel like we just fell for a scam and put a financial burden on ourselves because of the lack of communication and dedication Renewal shows towards their customers. We have heard that Renewal by Anderson is the best company around for doors and windows but that clearly is not true. We have waited 9 months for an installation that we were told was going to happen within 3 months of our initial consultation. Save your sanity and your money and stay away from this company.

Donnie Howe came and finished our order even on a Sunday in his backbrace. Heal slowly!! Our windows are great. Elijah and his crew was great. They worked through the ice and snow even put down some ice melt. They were all very nice and polite to be working on our windows. Cleaned the project site. Wes done in 2 days.

The installers did a great job. They were very thorough & precise. They went to extreems to protect our property with drop clothes & plastic covers. They finished in a very professional manor.
