Overpriced ****RUN FROM RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN****Consulted Renewal by Andersen initially for a storm door on our home. The Salesman used a computer program and a picture of our home to show us what the home would look like with a storm door and our entry way door, he then asked my wife if she liked a door that was in the program, long story short, we got upsold on the entry way door also, both doors were brown. The entry way door was installed without issue, it’s a beautiful door, the storm door however was not matching to the image on the computer, and did not match the agreed upon color in the description in the contract. They brought a white storm door and the entry way door was installed on the home and is brown. This wasn’t acknowledged at any point by the company until installation, the company acknowledged they didn’t mfg the door in the brown color initially agreed upon in the sale pitch process or in the contract. This also wasn’t mentioned until after the entry way door was installed on our home. So upon arrival with the wrong door they attemtped to install the storm door until my wife mention it was the incorrect color. The installer then reviewed the details for installation and acknowledged it was the incorrect color and they removed it and took it with them. The company then reached out indicating they wanted to Try and make it right. Their attempt at making it right included color samples, trying to match the entryway door. After a few attempts at making sure the color was correct for the storm door, they arrived with a storm door that was a color that was acceptable. However the storm door come to find out was a painted storm door and not powder coated like it should be from the mfg. After the door was installed on the home the quality was noticed as being a not so great finish with different quality issues. The finish quality for the premium price they charged for the project is a problem, not to mention the entire project was all initiated on the need for a storm door, they upsold on the entry way door that has an inferior finish compared to that of a regular mfg door from them. Renewal by Andersen really hung a storm door on my house that was painted with house paint out of a 1 gallon bucket. They offered a finish warranty on the house painted storm door but I’ll include pics of the storm door for your viewing pleasure. I’d just like to cancel the project and board my home up rather than pay a company to promise you a project you want and deliver far below they promised expectations. Customer service has been atrocious the whole way through this issue. Stating timelines for expectations in regards to progress updates and communication, constantly disregarding multiple attempts to reach out through text, phone, leaving messages at the front desk. Acting like your desire to have concerns addressed is a nuisance and they don’t have time to reach back out.

I just saw the TV commercial for Renewal by Anderson. It emphasized replacing just one window because they know you will come back for more. I called to get a quote for one window and was told they don’t do quotes for less than 3 windows. Their commercial is false advertising. Call Pella if you only need one window replaced, they actually do what they say.

Josh B and Daniel came to Franklin, KY from the Louisville office. They put in two long days of hard work to install 15 windows plus a walk-in door to the garage. Both guys were professional, courteous and personable. Great craftsmanship. Very happy with the look and quality. Looking forward to comparing energy bills this winter.
