I had a frustrating experience with Renewal by Andersen. A window project totaling about $37,600 was contracted with my mother. After signing, it became clear she did not fully understand the financial terms. We informed the company that she has a neurological condition affecting cognitive function, which contributed to that. When we tried to address the situation, we were told the contract was fully enforceable and that we would need to either proceed with installation or pay the full amount. We were informed by their attorney that any dispute would go to arbitration and could include recovery of attorney’s fees. At that point, we felt there was no reasonable path to resolve the issue other than moving forward, so we proceeded with installation to avoid further escalation. The installation itself appears fine, but the overall experience—particularly the lack of flexibility given the circumstances—was disappointing. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a project to carefully review the terms and be certain they understand the full financial commitment before signing.

Initially, my experience with Renewal by Andersen was very positive. The customer service at the beginning of the process was wonderful — everyone was responsive, courteous, and seemed genuinely committed to helping. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since then. After two failed attempts to have my atrium doors installed, I am still waiting for the final installation — nine months later. During the most recent scheduled install, I was bumped in favor of another customer as an employee called in, despite having already waited months for my project to be completed. Since these delays, customer service and follow-up have been extremely disappointing. Communication has been inconsistent, and there has been little accountability or urgency in resolving the issue. At this point, my next step will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I had high expectations based on my initial experience, but the ongoing delays and lack of follow-through have been frustrating and unacceptable.

Caden and Brandon came today to do some finish work and they were both efficient and professional. Renewal by Anderson hires quality workers who aim for great service. I would hire them for any window or door project. I replaced most of my doors and windows and the service has been great.

Would highly recommend, Renewal by Anderson. We love the new doors. Carlos and his helper worked real hard and so respectful and cleaned up all their mess. Carlos went above and beyond. Very happy customers.

The Louisville, KY home is the second time we are replacing our windows with Renewal by Andersen. We are very happy with the windows and with the front doors, the product quality is why we returned to the company. But, I have to say that the customer service experience (thank you Allie and Scott!) was infinitely better with the folks in Louisville, KY. They went above and beyond our expectations to communicate with us throughout the process, to accommodate schedule for the installation, to ensure that our experience is not only painless, but wonderful. The installers (thank you Chase and Josh!) were competent, thorough, and friendly. We have already recommended them to our neighbors, and we'll definitely reach out if we ever need quality windows and/or doors.
