Our experience with Renewal by Anderson has been abysmal. The technicians and workers that actually do the work are great. This review is not about them. This is about the total lack of reasonable customer service. It started with the sales process. We filled out the paperwork and asked very specific questions about our individual concerns and choices. We were told we were done when the sales person left our house. We ended up having to do paperwork 2 or 3 more times because they needed more information. Minor inconvenience but still not a great experience when you are told everything is good and they keep asking for more. Then came the scheduling. we were told from the beginning it was a 1 day installation. A few weeks before the door was installed we got a call telling us they needed to schedule the painters. I told them we already had a date on the calendar. They said that was the installation and they had to send painters out on another day. When I questioned them why it wasn't scheduled for the same day like we were promised. I was told that the painters can't be on the same schedule as the installation people. If this is the case then it is not a 1 day installation it is a 2 day installation. So instead of taking 1 day off of work we were forced to take 2 days off of work to be at the house because they lied about the 1 day installation. Then we finally got the door installed and our lock stopped working within 2 weeks. We requested a technician to come and fix or replace it. The tech was great but he literally took a 30 second video and a couple pictures and left because they apparently don't keep replacement parts or locks with their techs saying it would take a couple weeks to get a new lock. This is the FRONT DOOR to our house. Having a non functional lock is not a casual inconvenience it is a major safety issue. I received a call the next day telling me the same exact thing the technician said but now it could be 4 weeks or longer to get a new lock? SERIOUSLY? They offered to try and find a "temporary" lock. When I questioned what that meant the rep couldn't tell me. Nor could she tell me when either of these things, the temporary lock or the replacement lock, would be available. How hard is it to have a lock FedExed? Even if they had to have a specific kind they can contact Yale and have one sent. But this leads back to the bigger problem of them not having replacement parts or locks with their technicians. That is literally their job! Unbelievable! The door seems to be built well and looks great. Again this review isn't about the product. It is about the complete an utter lack of common sense and customer service with the Houston branch of this company. When someone spends several thousand dollars on a product and service they deserve the respect and dignity of a good experience not constant excuses without solutions.

The products are exceptional, but even more so, the install team was professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. They walked us through every step of the project with grace and patience. Yobany, Santos, and Omar were amazing at their job and so efficient and proficient that they made it look easy. I would highly recommend and you definitely get what you pay for.

James the sale person walked me through the process of what to expect and l have been able to communicate with him between my installation. Carlos and his team have performed and display a respect for my house and items in it. Will came by and spent time to ask how things were going and ask if there was an specific concerns l have or need to address. He demonstrated professionalism and assurance about my window's project as he lent a hand with the crew to make sure all was going well. I am very impressed with the teams and their specific roles.
