Andersen Corporation's windows have caused significant and ongoing property damage to my RV and personal vehicle through the intense reflection of heat generated by their window product(s). The reflected heat has resulted in multiple forms of confirmed damage, including melted and warped exterior panels, damaged paint and finish on both my RV and truck, and melted rubber seals and trim — all of which are directly attributable to the concentrated heat reflected off Andersen's installed windows. This is a known defect associated with Andersen's high-efficiency or low-e window coatings, which can act similarly to a magnifying lens, focusing and amplifying solar heat onto nearby surfaces with enough intensity to cause serious material damage. Despite this being a documented issue reported by other consumers, Andersen has made no meaningful effort to take responsibility or offer a direct resolution. When I reported the damage to Andersen Corporation, rather than addressing the matter directly or acknowledging any liability, they referred me entirely to their third-party insurance administrator, Helmsman Management Services. That claim has now been open for approximately five months with minimal progress, continued delays, and little to no proactive communication from the assigned claims specialist. My RV has been sitting at a repair facility since October 2025 awaiting authorization to begin repairs. The repair shop has expressed growing concern over the extended duration the vehicle has occupied their lot. I have been forced to make repeated follow-up contacts just to receive basic status updates, and I have received no confirmed timeline for resolution. Andersen Corporation manufactures and markets itself as a premium, trusted window brand. However, when their product causes direct and documented damage to a customer's property, their response has been to deflect responsibility and allow the matter to languish in a slow-moving insurance process for months on end. Consumers deserve to know that purchasing Andersen windows may expose their surrounding property — vehicles, siding, landscaping — to significant heat damage, and that if damage occurs, Andersen's corporate response will be inadequate and unacceptably slow. I am formally requesting that Andersen Corporation take direct ownership of this matter, ensure my RV is repaired promptly, and implement transparent accountability measures for consumers who suffer property damage as a result of their window products.

Lauren made the process much easier with her great communication, positive attitude, and professionalism. Our installer, Tye, was outstanding. He did a stellar install, showed great skill and attention to detail, and was also a very nice person. The finished doors exceeded our expectations, and we are very pleased with the outcome. Lauren and Tye are both tremendous assets to the Andersen brand.

Finally I could make this project and I have my new windows 🤩🎉🥳🎊 I can feel the difference in every room, my house is fresh and the direct sunlight all afternoon long don’t heat my room ! now I sleep in a cold room….. plus noise reduction they look beautiful now I can open my curtains to see my brand new window 🤩.
