Window & Door Replacement in Syracuse, NY

Had an appointment set up for 10am, no window time was given to us which was fine. However once it became 11am and still no representative we decided that they probably weren’t coming. Which is weird because I spoke with someone on Friday confirming our appointment this weekend. If they couldn’t make it they should have at least called before hand instead of us just waiting for them to come. Very disappointed.

Poor communication, overpriced and lack of transparency. On May 15, 2025, we ordered a full set of windows and doors for our home. The order included 13 standard windows, five specialty windows, one patio door, and one entry door. Before installation, our home sustained a major fire on September 30, 2025, which delayed the project and substantially changed the installation scope. The original agreement called for full replacement window installation, including integration with the existing exterior siding and reuse of existing interior trim. Following the fire, the exterior siding was removed, and the existing interior trim could no longer be removed and reused. As a result, the installation became comparable to a new construction installation. 1. There was no need to protect or work around existing exterior siding during removal. 2. There was no need to carefully remove interior trim for reuse. 3. There was no need to install extension jambs. 4. There was no need to reinstall interior trim. 5. There was reduced risk of damage to interior furnishings, walls, and floors during installation. Given this material change in scope, we asked Renewal by Andersen to review the project cost. The company offered only a limited reduction, which did not appear to reflect the work that was no longer required. As a result, the contractor restoring our home will need to complete and be compensated for work that Renewal by Andersen no longer performed, creating an additional cost that appears disproportionate to the reduction offered. Additional concerns 1. Communication was inconsistent, including delayed or missing responses to calls and text messages. 2. During the initial meeting, our stated preference against insert windows was not reflected in the initial pricing, and the existing windows did not appear to be fully evaluated before that pricing was prepared. 3. The worksite was not cleaned up after installation. 4. Renewal by Andersen agreed to provide trim for the curved specialty windows but did not fulfill that commitment.

Eric and assistant did a very nice job. From greeting to putting down mats to keep rug clean. Explained all details. Made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Awesome job

Appointments were timely and the installers were professional and efficient. Follow-up maintenance was quick and easy. 6 windows were replaced. I just wish I didn’t have to stain them. Would have been nice to have that included in the price.

The job was s dan, as we expected on Wednesday they were here a very long time but they were efficient kind and the job got done the way we wanted it to. It was the third time that they came off but the public relations person Morgan Lawrence came up also. She was very kind and just helped me through a lot of My frustrations with the door taking so long but she said it would be done this day and it was done to our specifications and we are very pleased with it and with her she went at Bob and beyond and we so appreciate her

Everyone I have had contact with has been pleasant to deal with. Am enjoying the new windows.

We had 12 windows replaced. The work was done expertly. We added grates at the last minute and they accommodated us without a problem. We are very pleased with the results.
