  • Renewal by ANdersen of teh Twin Cities plants a gardenWhen design consultant Chris Fraune (Renewal by Andersen of the Twin Cities) was working with homeowners Melissa and Matt Cavanaugh, they got to talking about Melissa’s work as a development officer and grants writer with Loaves & Fishes, a nonprofit organization serving free, nutritious meals to those in need. With Renewal's network-wide emphasis on Signature Service and a goal of not just selling windows, but really making a connection with homeowners—and with the community, General Manager Andrew Knopick thought it sounded like a great opportunity to help out.

    Meals from the heartOn Tuesday, Oct. 17, nearly 50 employees of Cottage Grove-based Renewal by Andersen LLC, the start-to-finish window replacement division of Andersen Corporation, spent time volunteering with Meals from the Heart, packing meals to support hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico. “We are proud of our employees for their on-going commitment to giving back and are grateful for partners such as Meals from the Heart ," says Paul Delahunt, President of Renewal by Andersen.

    Fort Snelling DonationAndersen Corporation presented the Minnesota Historical Society with a check for $10,000 for the Historic Fort Snelling revitalization campaign. The donation was made possible thanks to Renewal by Andersen booking 1,000 in-home consultation appointments at its booth at the 2017 Minnesota State Fair. For every appointment set, Renewal committed to donating $10 for the Fort Snelling restoration.

    Earth Day 2017 Kids PlantingOn April 22, 1970, 20 million people took to streets, parks, and auditoriums all across America to demonstrate for a healthy, sustainable environment in massive coast-to-coast rallies. It was the first ever Earth Day. Now, nearly a half century later, Earth Day is the largest secular observance in the world, with more than a billion people taking part in activities and celebrations every year.

    Cheeriodicals 2017 thumbRepresentatives from across the Renewal by Andersen North American retailer network partnered with Cheeriodicals to assemble and deliver 248 “big green boxes of cheer” and 2 children’s wagons to patients at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) on January 29, 2017. Approximately 100 employees, who were in town for the company’s annual retailer summit meeting, volunteered their time to assemble the Cheeriodicals gift boxes and wagons, which were filled with magazines and activity books, room decorations, puzzles, stickers, and games for the children to enjoy.
