Assistant Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement key Operations and HR programs and change initiatives.
- Coach, lead and develop the Warehouse team on the appropriate procedures, policies, and safety.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments of products and/or materials; record receipts and maintain appropriate.
- Recommend changes and improvements to current work procedures to leadership and provide leadership guidance on appropriate initiatives.
- Maintain overall inventory, cleanliness, and organization of all warehouse locations.
- Assist with team lifts as required.
- Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Ability to build good relationships in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word
- Expert people management capability including hourly teammates
- Proven ability to execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
- Organizational skills, detail oriented
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment
- At least 5 years diversified experience in warehouse operations, safety, and compliance in a manufacturing or distribution facility required
- 3+ years leadership experience; preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
