WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING| THE ROLE • Support the HR department to deliver comprehensive HR services to employees. Involvement in Benefits & Leave Administration to include but not limited to 401k, disability, dental, health, retirement, life, and supplemental benefits programs, COBRA, FMLA and any other HR related services. • Routine activities of processing new hire paperwork, employee transfers, compensation changes, benefits changes, and any other employee data change requests. Accuracy, error-free and detail orientation in data entry is critical. • Strong working knowledge of technical HR software, developing reports, and creating PowerPoint presentations. • Works with Accounting and payroll to ensure all processes are accurate and all aspects of payroll, including overtime, garnishments, advances, paybacks are communicated to all parties involved. • Conducts new employee orientation, explaining company policies and procedures. • Distributes information about benefit programs to new employees via written material, one-on-one conferences and group meetings as required. • Utilizes outside resources to monitor issues and concerns in employment law, communicating potential changes and uses critical thinking to mitigate risk, resolve issues. • Assists with the design and development of tools used by employees during benefit selection, employee self-service, etc. • Assist with the communication of various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations and compliance to both company leaders and employees. • Updates and maintains Employee Handbook for all employees, making recommendations for change(s) when necessary. • Uses results from both internal polls and external surveys which the company participates in to oversee and coordinate measurement of employee satisfaction. Identifies areas that need improvement and brings forward suggestions to the Sr. Leaders for improving overall workplace satisfaction. • Assures maintenance of employee records and files. • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation. Assists with exit interviews to ensure all termination processes are completed. • Communicates effectively with all levels of employees and management. • Provides innovative techniques to automate manual systems within the HR function that are aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness. • Analyze and summarize data for improvement opportunities; Audit and reporting HRIS system to ensure data integrity. • Regular, detailed reporting on program participation and recommendations for success. • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation. Assists with exit interviews to ensure all termination processes are completed. • Communicates effectively with all levels of employees and management. • Provides innovative techniques to automate manual systems within the HR function that are aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness. • Analyze and summarize data for improvement opportunities; Audit and reporting HRIS system to ensure data integrity. • Regular, detailed reporting on program participation and recommendations for success. • Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as necessary. • Develops and responsible for attaining personal goals and initiatives in line with the objectives of the department. • Other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL BRING| THE PERSON • Bachelor’s Degree, Human Resources, Business, or another related field, required; HR certification, preferred. • Minimum of three (3) years within the HR function with a generalist background. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent time and project management skills. • Excellent Verbal and written skill required. • Ability to manage relationships both internally and with external partners.
