Job Details
The Events and Retail Marketing Manager will oversee marketing activities at local events and retail locations throughout Westchester, Putnam and lower Fairfield counties. Position Requirements: Manage all logistics of the events and retail locations, including; set-up, staffing, and coordination with the local event management Increase the number of events we attend, such as fairs, festivals, and local exhibitions Partner with community retailers such as hardware stores and grocery stores Recruit and hire top events marketing professionals Train and coach the promoters on how to professionally engage customers at events, while scheduling in-home appointments Individual Qualifications: The ability to be persuasive and to sell our way into new events and retail locations Strong event management skills, including superb attention to detail Be an excellent trainer and coach who can develop people to reach their highest potential An ability to manage all resources to achieve issued appointment goals Abounding self-confidence, a great attitude with a high-energy personality Outstanding leadership and communication skills Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic Requires 2 to 3 years of experience of event sales and management Additional Compensation: Bonuses Benefits: Health insurance Retirement plan Paid time off This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity
