Job description: Measure Technician – Precision Matters Renewal by Andersen is the replacement division of the 120-year-old Andersen Corporation. Andersen is the oldest and largest window and door manufacturer in North America. Renewal by Andersen customers receive replacement windows that are built to fit existing window openings, which is why the “Measure Twice; Cut Once” adage is a gold standard for us. This role requires someone who is precise, methodical, conscientious, focused, organized, and accountable. You'll visit customers' homes, verify all dimensions, identify installation considerations, and ensure every custom-crafted product is ordered correctly. Since our windows and doors are manufactured specifically for each opening, there is no room for guesswork. If you take pride in accuracy, enjoy solving problems, and understand the importance of getting it right the first time, we'd love to hear from you. Our Measure Technicians are construction professionals, as well as customer service specialists and brand stewards. As Field Estimator, you are customer facing and will need both construction aptitude as well as soft skills to serve as the face of Renewal by Andersen and ensure homeowner satisfaction. Duties: * Accurately measure the dimensions of all windows and doors * Create installation scope of work * Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations * Utilize a thorough knowledge of Renewal by Andersen Products * Confirm details within the sales contract to assure customer expectations are in alignment with product features and options * Complete and submit required job files * Provide advanced notice of unique factors the installation crew will need to be aware of on the job Experience: * High School Degree * A minimum of 5 years of work experience in construction estimating/scope development. * Previous customer service experience, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills * Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record * Highly proficient in Microsoft suite, Salesforce and cloud collaboration. * Highly proficient with iPad, PC and handheld devices. * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Able to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 40lbs * Able to stand for at least 6 hours per day * Able to climb ladders, stairs, and kneel * Ability to work in a team environment Culture: We believe that when we exceed homeowners’ expectations and deliver delight, we’ve made a positive impact on both their homes and their lives.
