We are looking for someone with a passion for Marketing – a person who has attention to detail paired with a get-stuff-done attitude and the drive to learn and grow their career with a fast-growing company. Our Marketing team oversees all Marketing for both our Alaska and British Columbia territories, and the Marketing Assistant is a key role in making our team successful. Responsibilities Lead attribution oversight and auditing Event calendar maintenance Receipt and Expense tracking/spend management Report curation and data entry Assist in the set-up for department training classes Assist Marketing department team in maintaining Sales/Marketing, Events, Retail, and other applicable project boards. Ensure all data is up to date and accurate. Assist in reputation management program, social, and web posting Special project tracking as needed Data management and other tasks as assigned Qualifications/Skills Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of organization and attention to detail Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts Excellent time management skills Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities Ability to spot emerging trends Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing, and search engines Strong writing and copy-editing abilities High School diploma or GED preferred 1-3 years of experience in marketing or a collegiate degree in marketing, business, or a related field strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word) Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest) Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus Digital photography and video editing experience a plus Compensation Full time Remote – work from home! $20/hour $80/month phone & internet allowance 401K with Employer Match Health, Vision, and Dental 7 paid holidays Paid Vacation Participation in the company bonus program For More details see:
