Properly fill out installation or service paperwork upon completion. Service existing Renewal by Andersen products. Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions. Document solutions for future reference & training purposes. Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics. Understands and adheres to the established Renewal by Andersen processes and standards. As a service technician, you are responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting previously installed windows and doors by obtaining measurements for repairs and/or replacements. What You’ll Be Doing Service and repair previously installed RbA products. Analyze customer situations, determine corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Keep team members and manager informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken. Follow and keep current on RbA product and installation process changes and make recommends as needed. Keeps inventory service area neat and organized, request material replenishment as needed. Completes and submits required paperwork that is neat, accurate, thorough, and completed in a timely manner. Portray a professional image with clothing, vehicle, and personal actions within the home Provides a high level of customer satisfaction – exceeding customer expectations. Adhere to work timelines and meet deadlines. Take ownership of job responsibilities. Requirements What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Basic knowledge of construction, carpentry, remodeling, framing and building materials as well as terminology of the construction industry. Ability to service and repair previously installed windows.
