Besides being strong and functional, the windows operate easily and are quite attractive, inside and out. I especially enjoy the clear unobstructed view out of the kitchen sink window with the large single pane awning window and a TruScene screen.

Appreciated the sales mans suggestion for making 4 small windows into a large sliding window. Crew made sure the 2 large sliding windows were done correctly though the porch sloped by 2"'s.

Took 2 teams 3 days to complete the installation of 11 windows. Both teams arrived & did not have all the tools, supplies, etc. to complete the job. 1st team (2 people) did not have enough manpower to install 3'x7' window. They also arrived & did not have sill material to replace 5 sills agreed upon (in contract) originally. This caused delay to the second day. 2nd team (3 people) installed large 3'x7' window but did not have enough trim to finish the job without returning in late afternoon of (3rd day) Saturday.

You're still attaching large window screens with those little hooks - I though you'd improve on that in the last 40 years!

I was not aware of how much glass surface would be reduced by the rather large surround of each window, in some cases the trim came in 2 inches more than the old ones. Not happy about that but not sure what could have been done differently.

I live in a house that was built in 1963 using andersen windows. All the windows are fine except for 2 sliders and 3 large windows which meant 6 rooms of trouble and stress.

Quality of the windows from the glass, hardware, trim, and screens exceeded expectations. Stain color for interior trim matched as expected with other existing trim in the house; exterior frame matched other windows as expected. The installation process was done professionally. The ability of windows to reduce heat build inside house up by the sun has been remarkable (3 large windows facing south were replaced), as well as, reduction of sound. Overall, very satisfied w/ both the product and installation.

I don't normally provide reviews, but I was so satisfied on two separate occasions with my Renewal by Andersen windows and installation process, I had to pass on my compliments. On both jobs, my sales rep (same person) was exceptionally knowledgable and provided several economical alternatives to meet my requirements--especially for a large specialty window. My Andersen windows look great, and you can't beat the warranty. I definitely feel I received value at a reasonable price. |
