Cottage Grove, Minn (January 5, 2009) — Approximately 450 homeowners living near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will receive new Renewal by Andersen windows and doors. Renewal by Andersen, the start-to-finish window replacement subsidiary of Andersen Corporation, was awarded the window and door project from the Metropolitan Airport Commission (MAC).
The project is part of a sound abatement program created by the MAC that involves equipping homes in three cities near the airport with new windows, patio doors, air conditioning units and insulation to reduce the noise impact created by air traffic near the airport. The Renewal by Andersen windows and patio doors feature acoustic storm windows and panels that meet specific sound requirements of the program.
