Virtually Invisible Insect Screen Enhances Views from Inside and Out

Cottage Grove, Minn (May 3, 2006) — Inspired to improve the view from inside and outside the home, Renewal by Andersen is pleased to announce the availability TruScene™ high transparency insect screens. Developed by Andersen Corporation, TruScene insect screens are exclusive to Andersen® products, including all Renewal by Andersen® windows. TruScene insect screens provide clearer views, greater airflow and are virtually invisible from outside the home.

TruScene high transparency insect screens are made of a patented, high strength stainless steel material that is highly transparent and durable. This micro-fine material is one-third the diameter of standard Renewal by Andersen screen wire. The view through TruScene insect screens is more than 50 percent clearer than through standard Renewal by Andersen insect screens and the TruScene insect screen material features 40 percent smaller mesh openings than standard Renewal by Andersen insect screen material to protect against the smallest bugs such as gnats and “no-see-ums”.
